Bloggin'

I've been doing a little bloggin'. I had to work yesterday so I was a little late, but it was my turn to post at the Pink Paislee blog. The theme was hot trends. I chose to do a layout and talk about stitching. This is my layout:

I machine or hand stitch on everything, so I posted a few tips and did a little hand stitching tutorial too. You can check it out Studio Calico blog. I posted a Mother's Day challenge. I know it's a little late to mail cards, but if you know a special mom around town, take this challenge as an opportunity to make a handmade card.... even if you aren't a cardmaker. There really is nothing like a handmade card. And it saves you money too! I haven't bought a card in ages, but I did when I was putting together the present for the Hannah Montana party. Wowee cards are expensive nowadays! You could definitely save money by creating cards yourself. So you should give it a try! I love to be inspired by other cardmakers, so if you aren't a member with a Studio Calico kit but want to participate, just link me to your cards here. I'd love to be inspired by you!

Have a great weekend!

*Edited* I almost forgot! You need to check out the Worldwin Blog! Worldwin teamed up with Tinkering Ink for a big giveaway. Be sure to check it out. Now! :)
