Mother's Day cards

I posted my challenge at the Studio Calico blog and made a card with some leftover bits from the February kit, Sherwood Forest. It was fun to break out some of the older kits again! If you haven't made a card yet this weekend, get to it! Because of the late start to this challenge, simply creating a card with a Studio Calico kit qualifies you for the challenge... It doesn't have to be a Mother's Day card.

I decided to make a Mother's Day card for part of my monthly requirements for Worldwin this month too. Oh my gosh, I bought a digital kit from Shabby Miss Jenn Designs and I am in LOVE. I printed the floral pattern on some Worldwin printable vellum, and printed out flowers and everything. I am seriously addicted. I don't know why I haven't played more with hybrid before! We'll see how often I need to replace ink cartridges on my printer... that might be the key.

Enjoy your Mother's Day weekend! We might be looking for a new couch today... and I told Steve that tomorrow I want to go shopping. I never get to go shopping. I need to restock the lingerie drawer at Victoria Secret and I want to stop at the Children's Place for some t-shirts for the girls. Not too much to ask, right? When we are done I want to go to lunch with the kids at Red Robin too. I never get to do crowd stuff like that, Steve isn't a fan of crowds, and it might seem silly, but it will make me happy. He'll be fine. lol
