I also have the suitcase packed with city clothes, so we can return from the lake, drop off the trailer, jump in my car, and head to the city. Talk about City Mouse, Country Mouse! I hope my girls handle all the transition well! It should be fun.
Before I go I wanted to share some new stamps. I had the pleasure of working with some fun new stamps from Cornish Heritage Farms. They are 6x6 rubber mounted stamps called Scrapblocks. Below is a card I made with the Vintage Ledger stamp. I trimmed it down to fit on my card, and mixed it with some Crate paper. The stamp was applied to Worldwin Treasures cardstock, which has some texture to it, and it worked just fine. It was a lot of fun working with this big stamp, and I can't wait to play with it some more. I have a second stamp that I'll break out of the packaging after we get home from the Rose Festival.
As I go I wanted to have a little giveaway. I am busy with some spring cleaning and keep coming across product I have received or purchased and have yet to use. I thought I'd share the wealth and have a little giveaway. Just post a comment on this post and I'll draw a winner after I get home on Sunday.
Here's what I'll send ya:
There's a 6x12 album, a big 6x6 acrylic block, an embossing folder (and you don't have to have a Cuttlebug to use it) some acrylic and sticker alphas, and a flocking kit. Ever flocked? Now's your chance!
Have a great week! Thanks for stopping by! Davinie
