Studio Calico July

Happy Saturday! The recital was adorable. There were almost 30 little girls doing a dance number to Good Ship Lollipop and it was super cute. Morgan loved it. After watching a few more performances, she announced that she wanted to do tap dancing instead of ballet, so I think that's what I'll sign her up for next year. ... that and soccer. I think she'd like soccer.

Anyway, I'm off to the scrap sale at my LSS but wanted to share some of my projects from Studio Calico's July kit. It was a lot of fun to work with! I have a ton of product, so I am STILL playing with it.

For this layout title I was inspired by Dr. Seuss. We read Dr Seuss books alllll the time. In fact, if you have picky eaters, reading Green Eggs and Ham is a great resource to get them to try something that doesn't look good.

I also wanted to do something a little different which is why I chose to go 8 1/2 x 11 with that die cut paper. I didn't want to use the whole sheet. I put all of these layouts in 12x12 page protectors so I don't have a problem with the overhang.

I really like the vintage look of many of the product in the Tokyo add-on, so decided to do a layout about my baby girl with her baby girl. I just love their little relationship! Morgan has never really been into baby dolls so it's super cute to watch PJ with her girl.

Have a great day! Be sure to check the previous post here and enter for those October Afternoon charms! They are such a fun embellie.
