Humor Me.....

In mid-December, just before I left for 5 days to the beach, I received a wonderful opportunity. Mellypea from 2peas asked me if I'd be interested in being the Guest Garden Girl for January. I tell ya, I just about had a heart attack, lol! What an awesome opportunity to receive, and what an extremely difficult time of year to receive it! As you saw in my last post, I haven't been the most organized person, so gearing up to leave fo 5 days, making sure my other deadlines were met including those at the office, my "real job", was very overwhelming and crazy to say the least. But of course, I said YES. I had to say yes! I was so excited to say YES! I had a short amount of time to work on projects before I left for the beach, and when I got home, I sent the family to my in-laws for the day, and in just one day, created moste of the other projects for the garden. The deadline was just the next day so that the galleries could be created and allow for a Chrsitmas break for those who work so hard at 2peas.
It was really hard to keep my secret, but I did my best!
Since my news has been revealed at 2peas, I have received some of the sweetest emails from friends, and it has made this experience even better. I thank all of those who have said something soooo much.
Just recently there have been banners popping up with my mug on it, which makes me jump every time, lol. I don't normally do all about me layouts, so to be tasked with the subject "inspiration-myself" as the January garden theme was stressful! I decided to do a layout of myself with my camera, because that's what I look like to the rest of my famly, lol. I'm never in the photos, I'm just the one taking the 20,000+ photos that fill my adobe album every year.
Anyway, the other day I saw a vertical banner, and I decided to do print screens, because it'll probably be the only time you'll see my face and my name on that site. Good grief! I had to record it for prosperity! ha haha.


I was sooooo excited to be asked to guest design. I'll have a couple more projects for the mid-month gallery that are due in a couple of days. Tomorrow I'll share the projects that went live on the 1st.

And then it's time to get ready for CHA! I just spied the new releases from Pink Paislee and they are by FARRRRRR my favorite releases yet! I am so excited to get my box. Only 12 more days until the family and I jet to California for crafts and Disneyland! woot! Oh my goodness, I just typed that and started freaking out. 12. more. days. that's it.
