the Sunday Sketch and Elmwood Park sneaks

Happy Thursday!'

If you've ever wanted to try a 2 page layout, I have the layout and the sketch for you.  For my So Cal gallery I created a two page layout celebrating Payton's birthday, called "Age 6":

It just happens to be the Sunday sketch of the week.  Without the patterns in the background, the design  is really quite simple.  Think of it as a great big 8.5 x 11 layout on it's side:

If you'd like to give a two pager a try, you can link your layout to this blog post for a chance to win a $5 gift certificate to Studio Calico.  That and you will have one more layout finished in our album.  Win, win, right?

I'll have more sneaks to share this weekend, but I also have a couple of Elmwood kit sneaks to share today.  I got more SC paper, and add ons 1 and 4 this month:

This first one is from the main kit.  That turquoise polka dot is one of the main reasons More SC paper was on my list this month.

This one here uses add-on 1 only (minus my coveted Karen Foster floss).  See the snippet of the stamp in the background?  LOVE.  Another thing to add to your carts this month?  The Colorbox White Frost Ink Pad.  I wanted a white ink that would work well on kraft and this is the ticket.

FYI:  I post my sneaks on my Instagram all the time.  You can find me under the usual, davinie.

I'll be back later with more sneaks.  Tomorrow I will be back with the summer issue of Scrapbook and Cards Today.  Yay!

  1. I do follow you on instagram! :) I LOVE this layout--I pinned when I first saw it--GREAT sketch, not so much of a two pager person now that I've switched to 12 x12 but this is tempting!

  2. This is amazing...I just love seeing the detail that you put into your make 2 pagers look that sketch and sneaks!
