A couple of Worldwin things!

First of all.... hey, hi, how are ya. Things are going fine here. We caught a cold last week, and my ears are STILL plugged. Does that mean I have a sinus infection? I dunno.

I just wanted to share a little cardstock action today. Worldwin has a monthly sketch challenge going on at the Paper Crazy blog. It's a great opportunity to get some free cardstock. Worldwin cardstock is just as good as any other cardstock brand out there... and who couldn't use free cardstock?

The latest sketch challenge is based on the following sketch:

Looks easy enough, right? Here's my interpretation:

That's cardstock at work! No patterned paper here.
So if you are low on cardstock, whip up a little something and link it over at the Paper Crazy blog, okay?

Speaking of Paper Crazy..... have you seen Ali's blog today? She's doing a great big Worldwin giveaway. Colormates and Ruche cardstock, as well as two different weights of vellum. You did know that Vellum was back IN, didn't you? Well it is. I am going to be using it in all of my projects for this month so I'll have some different vellum ideas for your shortly. Anyway... post at comment at Ali's blog for a chance at that big giveaway, and then whip up a little something with cardstock for the sketch challenge, okay? Okay.

I'll leave you with a little something I made the other day. I have been holding on to these pictures for two years and they needed scrapped. This is the first time Morgan held Payton. I used colormates cardstock, as well as that yummy textured Ruche cardstock for this one. And then I added some Jenni Bowlin, a Maya Road chipboard bird, and a lot of stitching. I just adore this color palette!

Enjoy the rest of your Tuesday! Davinie
