On the Road Again.... This is it!

Ayiyiyi. I'm on the road again. The last hurrah of the summer. We are headed to the lake this time, which is nice because it's different. There will be a ski boat there, and all that, but I'll mostly be playing in the dirt with Payton or rowing my girls around in a rubber raft, which is actually kinda fun. I'm actually looking forward to it!
We did compromise though... Steve turned in his vacation for Sunday, so we are coming home Saturday so that he can go to work the next day. I just love compromise!
I'm almost 300 pages into the last book in the Twilight Series... I really tried to hold myself back but I just coulnd't. Consider that one read before I get back! I wonder what I'll do with myself once I'm finished? I'll probably have to read them all over again, lol.
Because I'm leaving today I miss yet another reveal night at Studio Calico. And if you haven't checked it out, and you haven't signed up for the newsletter, than you missed a special glimpse at the next kit. April was kind enough to send us the image, though. Check it out!

I've said it before and I'll say it again. I really liked this kit! I did a lot of beachy type layouts because I just returned from the Coast, but I still have plenty of kit left over and plan to break out my pumpkin patch photos too. I really like that about this kit in particular. I also got the Sophia and Audrey add-ons, but wish I had picked up Marilyn too. I want that pinked album! I just couldn't do it all this month, tempting that these kits already are.

Anyway... the avatar theme tonight is high school photos, so bring on your big bangs and head on over to SC, alrighty?

Before I leave I wanted to share a layout I've been working on the last few days, in between laundry, packing, and Edward Cullen, lol. We go to the Rose Parade at the Rose Festival in Portland every year, and of course, it normally just pours rain, lol. We came prepared this year, but it only rained for about 10 minutes! PJ just loves the rain, so was quite entertaining to us and nearby parade watchers as we waited for things to start. My title is a play on singing in the rain, or dancing in the rain.

Anyway, have a great rest of the week! I'll meet you back here on Saturday, lol. Take care! Davinie

Have fun on your little vacation. Love those times when you get to get away, even if it is just for a few days.

And I hear you on the Twilight series. I finished all of them in one week. So now I don't know what to do with myself.

Gorgeous layouts as usual. Have a wonderful weekend.
