I'm behind the times yet again!
I have several assignments due soon, including something I am VERY excited about but can't quite share yet... and I have to get my act together. My Studio Calico kit arrived today and I really need to dig into it too.
I am also headed out of town next Tuesday. We rent a house with my side of the family to celebrate Christmas. The great big bummer? I didn't realize it would coincide with Morgan's Christmas party. Such a big bummer. Did I mention it was a bummer? Her teacher almost cried. How much of a bummer is that!? They've been making top secret presents and ornaments and who know's what for several weeks now, and because I wasn't thinking when the dates were scheduled, she'll now miss it. If her party was Wednesday or Friday we'd either head to the beach late or come home early, but her party is on Thursday. The one day we can't do. Bum. Mer. I'll have to do something fun for her at the beach...
Anyway, with so much to do I have neglected the blog.
That said, I have a little something up my sleeves. It's Christmas time. It's the holiday season. And I am so grateful for all the wonderful things that you have said and the support you have given that I have a little Christmas present for one of you.
I don't want to give it all away, because Christmas is a time for surprises. But when I was a girl I was known to lift the tape here or there and get a peek every once in a while, so I'll give you a little hint or two.
One of my sources of inspiration is Gooseberry Patch. I have several Christmas cookbooks and catalogs on Country decor that is so inspiring for crafty projects and how I decorate my house. I wanted to share a little bit of that country love with a 2009 desk planner. I am so excited because I got one for me too.
I'm only going to give a little hint about something else I'm going to give away. Let's just say it involves a manufacturer I work for, and the last class I taught at my lss.
There's more, but that's for you to find out, lol.
To enter just leave me a comment and let me know where you look for inspiration. I'm hoping to find some new spots! I'll leave the comments open until Monday. I'm hoping to then get the address of the winner before I leave Tuesday morning and put the package in the mail in time for Christmas. :)
Before I go I did want to share a layout I did the other day. I ran across these photos of Morgan which coincided with organizing some butterfly chipboard pieces, and I just had to put the two together.
P.S. .... How's the December daily going? I've been doing things and taking photos, but alas, I am behind!
I look at blogs for inspiration! For eg: you've just inspired me to do a layout of a photo of my DD about her first face painting which coincidentally was of a butterfly! I've been putting it off for so long...So thanks Davinie!
