Crate Love - a li'l bit Country

As I've mentioned, I'm a huge fan of all the new lines from Crate Paper this winter, but when it came time to create something for my January assignment for the Crate Paper blog, Emma's Shoppe won.

I'm a huge fan of tone on tone designs lately, so I took the two yellow patterns in the collection and weaved them for a basket affect on this layout about my country girls.

Supplies:
Crate Paper patterned paper / die cut / buttons / brad / sticker alphas / trim
Studio Calico veneer alphas and new Mister Huey in Piglet
Uniball Signo pen

You can see this layout and a break down of the technique on the Crate Paper blog here.

Have a great day!   Davinie

  2. love the layout, esp. the weaving you added up top! Using white pen on the woodgrain paper, a revelation for me! I don't know why I only reach for my white pen to use on black cardstock!? What is wrong with me! :)
