Cardalicious is a wee bit digi

I have a bit of a digi/hybrid post for you today. I wanted to share my card for the Cardalicious challenge this week. This week's challenge was to use a circle, a flower, and sparkles.

I used a circle punch, and covered a brad with stickles.
I also used a fun digital kit from Danielle Thompson.
This one is for paper artists, like moi, and is called Matilda.
The digital version is available here.

The best thing about this card is that it was created using one piece of cardstock. I used white for the base and then printed the other patterns in the sizes I needed on the remaining cardstock.

Speaking of Danielle Thompson, she was gracious enough to post some great digital tutorials on the Kitschy blog.

The first tutorial is about how to add a photo to a digital frame.

The second tutorial is about how to recolor a digital frame.

The third tutorial is about how to recolor a digital frame with duo tones.

I hope you find these useful! I am a paper artist for sure but some of these tutorials really interest me for hybrid work.

On another note, I hope you'll be checking the Pink Paislee blog today. They are sharing the new Enchanting mini line within the Winsome Collection. I was lucky to work with this one as part of my CHA projects for the Pink Paislee booth. You might spy a delightful little girl in one of the photos. Check it out and leave a comment here to have a chance at some PP goodness.

Have a great day! Today is Morgan's 5th birthday! She is so excited! She's already up and dressed in a purple Fancy Nancy dress that she got for Christmas, and a fuzzy pink crown that surprised her at the kitchen table this morning. I can't believe she's 5.
